2015 AFRIFF Awards Rewards Desmond Elliot, Clarence Peters, Others


2015 AFRIFF Awards rewards Africa’s best film-makers.
The  2015 edition of the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) was held last night in Lagos, Nigeria. The event rewarded the best practitioners in different fields of filmmaking.  The winners were  selected from the initial 180 shortlist that was submitted to the 2015 AFRIFF awards panel.

The 2015 AFRIFF awards ceremony had a lot of A-list celebrities in attendance.  Clarence Peters was rewarded for his effort in Hex, while one of the fastest rising directors in the country, Ishaya Bako, also took home an award for his short film, Silent Tears.

AFRIFF To Screen More Than 190 Films

This is the fifth edition of what is fast becoming one of Africa’s biggest film festival.
