American blues legend and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Riley King (B.B. King) has been hospitalized this past weekend.
Although representatives didn’t share location of treatment or why he’s been hospitalized, King has lived with Type II diabetes for over 20 years.
Last October, the blues legend had to cancel the rest of his tour after he fell sick during a show, and was diagnosed with dehydration and exhaustion.
With more than 50 albums under his belt, the 89-year-old Mississippi-born guitarist, nicknamed “King of the Blues”, has been ranked among the greatest guitar players of all time.
