He’s no Oprah, but Chris Brown is feeling quite Santa-like this Christmas, showing his charitable side in the most awesome way.
And as expected not everyone was ready to give him a pat on the back. (like he truly deserves)
This past weekend, the father of one, who we know as Royalty, gifted a former domestic violence victim at the Boys & Girls Club in Hollywood with a brand new car and some other Christmas presents for her three children.
Jessica Roncalli, who is a single mother, was happily stunned by Brown’s act of generosity, but it was the singer who posted his own lengthy gratitude on his Instagram:
“I’ve been very fortunate and blessed with so much in my life and I always thought that it was supposed to be that way. I was selfish, arrogant, and cold hearted. I’m able to bless and inspire so many others and I realize that now. This woman has delt with domestic abuse through her life and her 3 wonderful children had to experience that. I see myself when I looked into their eyes. The amount of strength this woman has is remarkable. I hope I could make their Christmas a great one. I hope the kids love all the toys and things I got for them. And for moms. I hope I could put a smile on this family’s face.”
Leave it to some grinchy fans to speak against Brown’s kind heart, but he was ready this time for their negative response.
When a fan questioned his good deed and sincerity, Brown did not hesitate to respond directly to the fan VIA social media of course.
Brown first noted how ‘envious and miserable’ people are to ever negate any positive act of kindness. (good job Chris)
Then he added, “Find God and happiness will find you.” (Yes Chris!)
Then advised the grinch who tried to steal his Christmas cheer, to go vote and help their community instead. So yes, Chris Brown is indeed doing us proud with his new way of confronting opposition.
