Darey Finally Releases The Naked Album

The Naked Album Wura

Darey Art Alade has finally released his 4th studio album titled Naked today October 13th, 2015.

Darey who was at the Nigerian Radio station, Cool Fm 96.9, in Lagos earlier today, made the announcement that the long awaited album is now out.

The Nigerian R&B singer’s album has productions from Oscar Heman-Ackah, the incredible Cohbams Asuquo, Vtek and Darey himself, who showcased his impressive production skills on the album.

The Naked album has 13 tracks with guest appearance from Asa, Olamide, and the South African multiple Grammy award winning Soweto Gospel choir.

Darey, in his discussion with Cool Fm’s OAP Mannie,  explained the inspiration and the efforts put into the album “Naked.”

From the start of this recording project, my plan was to create music that will connect with people on a deep personal level, stand the test of time and still be fun“.The whole album is a journey that I hope my fans enjoy.‎ Over the course of my career, I have recorded hundreds of songs but I can truthfully say that what I feel is the best music I have recorded in my life is on this album. “Naked” is more than just an album title.‎

Darey, who is the son of Nigerian music legend Art Alade, broke into the music industry after the release of his sophomore album unDareyted in 2009 and has not looked back ever since.

Darey’s 4th Studio Album, Naked

The very stylish, Darey Art Alade is one of the few Nigerian artiste who still take their time to put out great songs that can stand the test of the time.

Darey, who also visited the Beat 99.9 Fm (in Lagos) premiered the single “Orekelewa” off the album and further stated that the album Naked was his 5th studio album, but records shows that he has only released 3 albums till date, namely “From me 2 U, UnDareyted, and Double Dare. Maybe he just got carried away with the whole euphoria surrounding the release of his new album or maybe he released an album fans never got a wind of.

But I’m sure music lovers and his die hard fans won’t care about the number of album he has released, because they will be pretty happy to know that they have a new Darey LP to groove to after waiting for 4 good years.
