2015 Forbes Richest Hip Hop artiste, Diddy is on a mission to take over the entertainment world, as he has unveiled plans to produce a new scripted comedy show based on the life of his former assistant, Sarah Snedeker for ABC.
The series will be based on the life Sarah Snedeker, a small town girl, who is thrown into the fast life of an entertainment mogul who is always on the move, as she encounters all the crazy antics associated with show business.
The “single-camera” comedy show titled The Hustle, will chronicle Snedeker’s journey from small-town-bred assistant to an executive at Revolt Films.
The show which is written by Stacey Harman will be directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer). Sarah Snedeker will serve as a producer and consultant, while Sean Combs (Diddy) takes the executive producer’s credit.
Diddy is not new to the TV/movie business as he was the co-executive producer on the feature film Dope, which had stars like Forest Whitaker and he was also the executive producer for the biopic, Notorious.
Diddy has now joined the likes of John Legend who has a romantic comedy show called, “Ordinary People,” which is based on his relationship with his wife Chrissy Teigen and Nicki Minaj is currently working on a comedy series for ABC Family based on her own life.
