“Abeg take us back,” seem to be the tune that axed Generations cast are now singing.
In a letter sent by their representative, Bulelani Mzamo, the cast who walked out on production a couple of months ago over wages and unfair contracts, are now willing to return back to work.
“Our clients are grateful that you agree to pay the rates agreed to in November 2013. They are also grateful that you agree to three-year contracts…our clients immediately tender their services without any conditions. Should you agree to their unconditional tender of their services, you can directly contact them as to when they can resume work,” read the letter.
Sounds like the prodigal children would like to be back home.
While the return of the sixteen is still u in the air, Generations executives are said to be exploring the possibility of bringing back former cast members and recasting new faces in current roles.
