Welcome to the 21st century where wearing less cloth is celebrated, while covering up is seen as awkward, as Golden state star, Stephan Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, got criticized for saying she likes to keep her body exclusive.
Ayesha, who has two kids with the NBA star, posted a series of tweets where she stated that she loves to keep her body covered and classy, and this didn’t go down well with some folks.
One of her tweets reads:
“Everyone’s into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters.”
She followed up by saying:
“Just looking at the latest fashion trends. I’ll take classy over trendy any day of the week. #saturdaynightinsight”
However, unexpectedly, her tweets got the attention of some folks who felt like Ayesha was shaming women and questioning women’s rights to express their sexiness through their outfits. These folks suggested women shouldn’t live their lives for a man. I think this is totally absurd because I don’t see how a woman covering up her own body translates to her “subjecting” herself to a man’s control.
While I respect the feminist stance on issues, I really don’t think this comes under the feminist and non-feminist umbrella even though that’s how some twitter users viewed her thoughts.
Check out Ayesha Curry’s tweets and some of the responses below and lets us your know thoughts on this new naked fashion trend that is now viewed as the norm.
Well, she didn’t let the criticism get to her as she also threw a couple of shades of her own.
And they came the flakes
However, she has still a couple of her supporters, who supported her stand on the issue
