It hurts to say goodbye. Literally – like tattoo-cover-up-kinda-pain-hurt.
Nick Cannon has covered up his famous large tattoo of his estranged wife Mariah Carey’s first name on his back following their recent split.
Sources say the America’s Got Talent presenter has replaced the tattoo with a new inking of Jesus Christ on the cross with angel wings coming off the end the crucifix.
Cannon debuted his new artwork as he celebrated his upcoming 34th birthday with friends, including Amber Rose, at the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood on Thursday night.
He and Mariah share three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan.
Friends of the couple previously revealed cracks started to appear in the pair’s relationship when Cannon admitted during a radio interview in March that he had slept with five famous women, including Kim Kardashian, before meeting Carey.
