Golden State Warrior star, Steph Curry, has got his super real wax figure set up at the Mademe Tussauds at San Francisco
The record breaking NBA star was honored with the wax figure yesterday at a ceremony. Alongside his wife, Ayesha and two kids.
Steph Curry, who was pretty excited, revealed it was a little bit confusing for his daughters to warm up to the figure and called the creation, pretty special.
I don’t know how you could actually dream about something like this, you look at the detail and all that goes into a wax figure, so pretty special.”
Madame Tussauds reportedly took four months to sculpt Curry’s figure, which is valued at $350,000, taking 250 measurements of the NBA MVP including intricate details down to the tattoos on his wrists.
Steph also revealed that wax figures has a special place in his heart because it was the place he took his wife on their first date.
For me and my wife, it’s kind of a funny story. One of our first dates in L.A., we went to the museum on Hollywood Boulevard,” he said. “So that was one of our first experiences together, walking through and taking pictures with all the wax figures in that museum, and now to have one of my own is pretty special.”
Steph Curry and his family took out time to take several pictures with the wax figure and Curry even faced swapped with it.
