Nobody knew. We didn’t know.
That seems to be the standing story of the New England Patriots about how most of their footballs became under-inflated in the AFC championship.
During a news conference on Thursday morning, Coach Bill Belichick maintains that he was shocked to hear about the issue.
In a afternoon conference, Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady also echoes the same sentiment of not having a clue.
“I didn’t alter the ball in any way,” said Brady.
Several reports say the controversy began when D’Qwell of Jackson of the Indianapolis Colt intercepted Tom Brady’s pass.
Patriots ran out of footballs and had to use the Colts’ footballs late in the first half.
