It’s seems Nigerian songstress, Waje, is into the whole plastic surgery thing as she has once again reiterated her desire to undergo plastic surgery if she can afford it.
Waje in a recent chat with Nigerian tabloid, Punch, gave her thoughts on skin toning (which is still a touchy subject) and body enhancement procedures.
While she wasted no time in professing love for her skin tone, it was a different ball game when it came to her body shape. She said:
“I love my skin tone. Growing up, my mum enjoyed teasing me by saying I have ‘butter on my skin’ and I enjoyed it. I think I have a great skin so all I do now is ensure that I use a proper sunscreen cream to maintain my skin tone.”
“I don’t have anything against body enhancement surgeries. If I can afford it, I may alter some parts of my body.”
It’s quite obvious that she’s serious about the statement she made on MTVbase’s Real Talk, where she stated that she would love to reduce the size of her bosom.
Well, it was only going to be a matter of time before African celebrities catch the “surgery buzz” like their international counterparts and this is one issue I really hope wouldn’t be a trend. Because regardless of how you look at it, everyone is amazing, just the way they are.
